I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression following a nervous breakdown. I had heard that acupuncture was supposed to help with these symptoms and so I came to see David. He took a full history, was professional, caring and attentive and explained clearly what course of treatment he thought would help. From the minute I lay on the couch with the needles (they don’t hurt!) in place a huge sense of calm came over me and I felt my body and mind relax properly for the first time in over a year. .. my anxiety disappeared – it was bliss!

Following the first treatment, I was able to sleep well having had little sleep for 6 months, I found I had more energy and felt more balanced – the depression certainly lifted and any panic or anxiety was significantly diminished. I continued to have treatments experiencing the same deep relaxation as the first time and noticed a huge difference after each session not only with my emotions but also with my general bodily functions; better digestion, less headaches, clearer skin and so on. Best of all, I no longer suffer from any depression or panic attacks and very rarely feel anxious. Another area where I found the acupuncture immensely helpful was in reducing the horrible side effects of the medication that I had been prescribed and in helping to come off that medication successfully.
