Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy takes a holistic approach to restoring movement and function and clearing pain when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. Your physiotherapist will use a multi-faceted approach to treatment.

At the Southview Clinic this may involve manual therapy techniques, movement and exercise, acupuncture, taping, electrotherapy and posture and lifestyle advice.

Working with you, physiotherapy can help you recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility, assist rehabilitation after surgery and help maintain you at an optimal level of function for sport, work and life in general.

Common conditions treated at our clinic include sports injuries, arthritis, neck pain, back pain, TMJ disorders, peripheral joint problems such as tennis elbow and frozen shoulder, hip, knee and ankle disorders. Working closely with local surgeons, a post operative rehabilitation service is provided.
